Board Position Details
BOARD MEMBER: We are looking for dedicated board member who is excited by the potential of taking items that are going unused and putting them in the hands of those who need them most. While the time commitment is flexible, GiveNkind is experiencing major growth in the organization and new team members need to be able to follow through on projects they select to start. Our board and volunteers are committed, fun, and driven individuals who work for the same goal, to serve nonprofits and their missions.
- Board Term: We currently do not have term limits but do have a requirement that potential board members volunteer for 1 quarter before being elected to the board. After election, the time commitment is attendance at quarterly board meetings, and projects selected by the individual. GiveNkind is flexible and understands that life come first but does ask that any task taken on by a board member is completed by that board member as a courtesy to the organization and board.
- Financial Contribution: Board members are not required to contribute financially.
- Faith-based Organization: We are not a faith-based organization.
- Skills: We are looking for a board member with great communication skills and love of logistics. We make many of our connections with donors and nonprofits across the country digitally and are looking for help refining the process, training volunteers, and recruiting new corporate donors to give donated goods that are frequently requests by nonprofits.
