Board Position Details
BOARD MEMBER: Operations Specialist – We are looking for someone to assist in driving strategy for our day to day operations. This volunteer board position would help develop processes and infrastructure for our daily/weekly activities- including processes for new singer recruitment, data collection, and accounts receivable. An ideal candidate would be someone with experience creating infrastructure and operations plans and has a passion for providing equal access for the arts.
Marketing and Communications Expert – We are looking for assistance developing and executing a marketing plan for external communications. This volunteer board position would also help drive strategy for our social media campaigns (Facebook & Instagram). An ideal candidate would be someone with experience creating communications plans and has a passion for providing equal access for the arts.
Organizational Writer – We are looking for assistance drafting compelling language for marketing efforts, grant proposals and internal communications. An ideal candidate would be someone with experience writing mass communications and has a passion for providing equal access for the arts.
Technology Expert – We are looking for someone with experience and/or access to the tech area. Our most pressing need is some to help manage website updates and database management. An ideal candidate would be someone with experience managing data integrity and has a passion for providing equal access for the arts.
- Board Term: 1 year board commitment, 3-10 hours per month. No min board commitment
- Financial Contribution: Board members are required to contribute financially.

About the Forte Community Music Project
Forte was founded in February of 2017 to create a space where everyone could continue their music education, regardless of their past experience or financial ability. Forte Community Music Project is a 501(c)(3)* nonprofit organization. Support our vision of uniting the world one voice at a time.
Forte provides private group voice lessons for singers (age 12+, including adults) at all levels. No prior experience necessary. We are dedicated to making high-quality music education accessible for everyone; therefore, all programs are offered on a sliding scale. Scholarships are available for both youth and adults.
