About Code Nation

Code Nation is a national nonprofit on a mission to equip young people in low-income circumstances for careers in technology, creating pathways for economic mobility and propelling greater diversity in the tech sector.

With a volunteer teaching corps that includes hundreds of professional technologists, Code Nation mobilizes the tech community to provide coding courses and work-based learning programs in under-resourced high schools. This past school year, Code Nation programs reached almost 1,400 students in 46 schools across New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Code Nation is expanding its impact and will be launching programs in Chicago high schools for the first time in September 2019!
