About Chicago Coalition for the Homeless
The Chicago Coalition for the Homeless (CCH) organizes and advocates to prevent and end homelessness because housing is a human right. Through our community organizing, public policy, and law departments, we actively engage people that experience homelessness to make real change at the city, county, and state level. Through our work, we have created millions of dollars of new funding and innovative policies and programs to combat homelessness. In addition, our Law Project provides direct legal assistance to people who are homeless, particularly youth in the school system and in the shelters.
In 2020, CCH will celebrate its 40th anniversary, looking back at decades of progress and forward to a time where we end homelessness. Our dedicated, passionate staff and board believe in our mission and achieve tangible goals year in, year out.
